1972 Alex Singer
About
This bike is one of my favorites – I can literally ride it all day.
A lucky and rare Goodwill find! When I bought this little french beauty I had no idea what it was but looking at the nervex lugs and the Campagnolo groupo I could tell the bike was of good quality. At this time I was only buying and cleaning up vintage British 3 speeds – this gem put me on the path to vintage steel road bikes.
Modified by Spence Wolf at the Cupertino Bike Shop, you can see the changes in the long reach rear derailleur, and the tied and soldered spokes.
